I’m having an inordinate amount of fun playing with a principal-agent perspective on things. Changing perspectives is invigorating, always. I admit to checking how posts land. More than usual, the principal-agent posts seem to divide readers down the middle: ‘interested’ and ‘what?’ But focus on the signals that connect, and put a strict time-box around everything else.
When I was into Quant Finance, I enjoyed reading whatever I could find by Espen Gaarder Haug (aka the ‘collector’). I didn’t always get what he was on about, but I enjoyed following the general approach and getting a sense of his intuitions. Let’s develop our spirit of irreverent collection, copying & re-mixing... Everything is a re-mix, right?
